Industrial Reverse Osmosis System – SWRO system 3 m3/h

The YWT SWRO System 3 m³/h is an industrial seawater reverse osmosis system designed for the production of treated water from seawater using proven reverse osmosis membrane technology. Developed for professional and industrial water treatment applications, the system combines high pressure pumping, membrane separation, pretreatment, instrumentation and automated control within a robust stainless steel structure. With a nominal product water capacity of 3 m³/h, this SWRO system provides a complete platform for seawater desalination applications where controlled operation, reliable equipment and consistent process monitoring are required. At the core of the system is a Danfoss APP 7.2 high pressure pump, which provides the pressure required for the seawater reverse osmosis process. The high pressure section incorporates AISI 316 stainless steel piping, selected for use in demanding saline water environments, together with three 8040 membrane housings. The configuration is designed around industrial reverse osmosis operation and provides the membrane capacity required for the desalination process. Feed water pretreatment is supported by three BB20 sediment prefilters, helping reduce suspended particles before water enters the high pressure reverse osmosis section. Proper pretreatment is an important part of industrial RO operation because it helps protect downstream equipment and reverse osmosis membranes from particulate loading. The system also includes a Grundfos dosing pump for antiscalant dosing, with an option for a second dosing set, providing additional flexibility for chemical conditioning according to operating requirements and feed water characteristics. System operation is managed through an electrical panel equipped with a Unitronics PLC controller, providing centralized control of the industrial reverse osmosis process. An ABB conductivity controller enables monitoring of water conductivity, with a pH measurement option available where additional process monitoring is required. Danfoss pressure switches, motorized valves, a concentrate balancing valve and a pulsation dampener are integrated into the system to support controlled operation of the high pressure desalination process. The SWRO system is constructed on an AISI 304 stainless steel frame, while the high pressure process line is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. This combination provides a durable mechanical platform for industrial water treatment installations while addressing the more demanding conditions present in the high pressure seawater section. Dedicated inlet, permeate, concentrate, CIP and chemical dosing connections are incorporated into the system to support installation, operation and maintenance.
